How credits work
Framedash debits credits using the same per-second list rates as the public APIs (October 2026):
- 480p — 5 credits per second (25 credits for a 5 s clip, 50 for 10 s, 75 for 15 s).
- 768p — 8 credits per second (40 credits for 5 s, 80 for 10 s, 120 for 15 s).
- 1 credit = $0.01 of list provider cost. Packs price credits above raw API cost to cover payment fees and operations.

At list API rates those map to $0.25 / $0.50 / $0.75 for 480p and $0.40 / $0.80 / $1.20 for 768p.
Free tier
When generation is enabled, every new visitor receives three free 480p · 5 s clips (25 credits worth each at list). Free uses are tracked per browser and per salted IP. After three successes, 480p · 5 s still works only with pack credits; 768p or longer durations always need credits.

Prices in USD, charged once. Clip columns count how many renders you get if you spend the whole pack on that single format:

Refunds
If the provider returns failed, cancelled, or expired status — or the job hits our 15 minute timeout — Framedash refunds credits or free uses exactly once. Successful renders are not refunded. You do not need to contact support for automatic refunds.
Example mixes on Creator pack
The Creator pack ($14.99, 700 credits) could cover, for example: ten 480p · 10 s clips (50 credits each), plus four 768p · 5 s clips (40 each), with 100 credits left for experiments. Or twenty-eight full 480p · 5 s clips if you standardise on that format — see the pack table above.
Margin note (internal)
Packs price credits above raw list API cost to absorb PayPal-style fees (~4.4% + $0.30 per order when live) and operations. Starter lands near ~58% margin before payment fees at list provider rates; Max pack is ~48% before fees. See README for the full table.

What people ask before they generate
How do Framedash credits map to H3 Max renders?
Debits mirror list provider cost: 480p costs 5 credits per second of output; 768p costs 8 credits per second. One credit equals one cent of list API cost ($0.01).
Is there a free tier?
When generation is live, each visitor gets three free renders at 480p and 5 seconds only. Higher resolution, longer clips, or extra renders need pack credits.
Do credits expire?
No. Packs are one-time purchases; unused credits stay in your wallet until you spend them.
What happens if a render fails?
Failed, expired, or timed-out jobs (15 minute cap) refund credits or free uses automatically, once per job. We do not double-refund on repeat polls.
Can I buy a subscription?
No subscriptions. Every pack is a single USD charge. Checkout on this site is simulated until PayPal goes live — use the pack buttons to join the email list.
How many clips does each pack cover?
Clip counts in the table assume standard debits: 25 credits per 480p 5 s clip, 40 per 768p 5 s, 120 per 768p 15 s. Mixed resolutions consume credits proportionally.
